Published: May 7, 2024

Whether you put in your time on the lake by fishing or watersports, one thing is for sure: you’re going to need some delicious fuel. We have plenty of tasty dining options around the Tomahawk area. Many locations have patio or deck dining options for enjoying the Northwoods summer all day and evening!

Looking to be able to park the boat and walk up? The Tilted Loon Saloon on Lake Nokomis has a beautiful tiered deck overlooking its docks and a variety of great eats on the menu. Bootleggers Lodge is the place for that special night out and features a deck and boat parking right on their beach. If Nokomis isn’t your preferred body of water, you can always tie up at Castaway’s Bar & Grill or Outboards Bar & Grill, both accessible from the Wisconsin River which runs right through town. Both places offer a deck and a full menu with daily specials and terrific seasonal eats.

If a simple night on a patio and some live music is more your vibe, Sideways Wine & Craft Beer might be your place. Offering beautifully crafted cocktails, as well as a vast selection of wines and Wisconsin craft beers, Sideways has become a great spot for casual conversation. Or perhaps a bonfire is calling your name? The patio at The Loop Hole in the Nokomis area has that relaxing opportunity.

If you’re an early riser or just enjoy brunch, What’s Brewin’ Coffee Shop on Main Street (West Wisconsin Ave) has a beautiful garden patio out back, perfect for drinking your morning coffee. Take your time sipping your drink, then venture out to our quaint downtown stores.
