Tomahawk Public Library
The Library is located along the Wisconsin River at the intersection of West Lincoln Avenue and Tomahawk Ave. It’s just 3 blocks from two of Tomahawk’s main streets: 4th Street/Bus. 51 running north and south and Somo Avenue/County Hwy D (also know as a part of the State Hwy 86 Truck Route). The Tomahawk Public Library is a member of the Wisconsin Valley Library Service. Through the WVLS shared system, you may obtain one library card that can be used at any of the libraries within the system. To obtain a library card, you must bring in an ID and proof of residence or ownership of property in the Wisconsin Valley Library Service area. If you are from outside of the WVLS system, you must bring in your library card (in good standing) from another Wisconsin library system. Library card holders may request items from our Online Catalog to be sent to our library via the WVLS Courier Service.
