**Events that took place for the 2016 Event

THURSDAY

The Tomahawk Chamber presents the

Annual Bonfire and Brat Fry at SARA Park along the waterfront.

Come enjoy a brat,beer,soda and a HUGE bonfire

 and  live  music featuring Brian McLaughlin

Music and food will all start at 6:00pm and go until 9:00pm.

ACTIVITIES DOWNTOWN:

The VFW Post 2687 of Tomahawk is the new organization in charge of the downtown activities. There will be a "MASH" theme through out the 2 days of events.  The two beer tents will be "THE SWAMP" and "ROSIES". The "MASH" tent will hold true to its name and serve as the medical emergency locations and house the command center.The VFW's purpose is to raise funds for the "Never Forgotten Honor Flight and the local Camp Hackett in Phillips area known as the  "Wounded Warriors In Action". The VFW is calling this year the "Year of the Veteran". All veterans are invited and you can dress up as one of the MASH characters. All riders and non-riders are encouraged to stop by at one of the beer tents and chat.

Thunder Parade will start lining up at the High School at 5:00 pm. A blessing for the parade will be at 6:00. After the blessing the parade will travel east on Kings Road to County Road  D. After an 18 mile ride will end up in downtown Tomahawk.

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the Tomahawk Fall Ride for MDA. For the past several years, the Tomahawk Lions and the Northern Lights Harley Owners Group have led the Thunder Parade on Friday night by pairing the visually impaired with members on the 18 mile ride. This year, the Lions Club also welcomes those on Medicare Disability in the 54487 zip code. Transportation to and from the parade is not provided. If anyone is interested in riding in this year's parade on Friday, September 16, please register with Orrin Kolberg at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. A limited number of seats are available. Lineup at Tomahawk High School Parking lot at 5 pm; parade at 6 pm. Please dress for the weather. Riders under age 18 require helmets. All riders must be able to sit on the back of a bike (side cars will not be available).
