Come to Treehaven and learn about birds and bird watching at our 1,400 acres of diverse Northwoods habitat and outstanding facilities. The program starts with a presentation on Friday evening with your guide, Katie Koch, of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. After a restful overnight in our residential center, get up for an early birding hike right outside your door. Then you will be treated to a delicious brunch buffet in our famous dining room with our great new chef, Ken Kulhanek.

Main Street Memories Car Show Activities (10:00 am - 7:00 pm)
Saturday Activities-All activities are downtown unless otherwise noted.
- 10AM to 1PM - Model A Photo Stand-in created by local artist Natalie Watland. Reminiscent of the rumble seats, kids can pop out the cut out faces and have their photos taken with their siblings, parents or friends at no charge.
- 10AM to 1PM – Nelson’s Coloring Contest. Every child is provide a chance to color this year’s cartoon created by local artist Andy Goretski with Custom Murals – a Corvette and a caricature of Paul Nelson and one of his famous, cupcakes that the children receive when they complete the Race Car Cake Walk. Kid’s who complete a cartoon then compete for prizes in the contest where winners are chosen June 8. More details are provided at the event, or in advance at McDonald’s in Merrill or Tomahawk, as well as Ike’s Café, Bambino’s Pizza & Grill, Tomahawk Family Restaurant or at Nelson’s County Market.
- 10AM to 1PM - Photo ($1) with “Blue the BIG Bear” from Bear Staffing Services. Kid’s may have their photo taken hugging a nearly 6’ blue bear! Proceeds go to Tomahawk Main Street to fund activities such as producing family-friendly downtown events.
- 10AM to 11:30AM - OK Printing’s Motorcycle Scavenger Hunt (ages 4-8). Meet at the corner of 3rd Street and West Wisconsin Ave. to learn the rules of this fun scavenger hunt. Kids and their parents explore downtown businesses and compete for prizes as they find motorcycle clues.
- 11AM to 1PM - Race Car Cake Walk with Tomahawk United Methodist Church. Returning from last year. Kids enter the race track and ‘vroom’ to the music until they land on the winning checkered flag and win! Every child wins and decorates a cupcake donated by Nelson’s County Market. Additional sweets are available for purchase by Tomahawk United Methodist Church.
- Noon – Skateboard Competition in Pride Park. To celebrate the newly renovated Skateboard Park in Pride Park, Dixie and Andy Zastrow, who were one of the donors to the original skateboard park, will co-present the cash and trophy awards at the end of the competition.
- Noon to 4PM - 20th Century Motorcycle Attraction, presenting a vintage and modern retrospective presented by Super 8 & Best Western with concessions. For those wishing to enter a Motorcycle into this new event at no fee, please call (715) 453-4085.
- 5PM to 7PM – A Main Street Memories tradition – a “Memories” Kick-Off at Rodeo Saloon with karaoke, merchandise raffles & a slide show of last 17 years of Car Show fun.

The big Car Show – held rain or shine - on the main drag with 300 antique, hot rods and classic which is free to spectators.The day includes music by DJ Brown,raffles,non-profit vendors, Craft & Bazaar Show and concessions.

9:00am - 3:00pm Kids Car Korral presented by Dr. Dean Hussong ($1 for kids, free to parents, and receive chance to win exotic stuffed animals donated by Forest Land Sports or large stuffed Super Bears from Bear Staffing Services) with Fantasy Coral Petting Zoo, Sue the Balloon Lady,Photos with Bear Staffing's"Blue the Big Bear", Photo Stan-In with Model A by Natalie Watland and Nelson’s Coloring Contest 9AM to 3PM. There will be an additional fee for pony rides.
3:00pm Sharp- Bear Staffing Awards Ceremony will be held near the corner of 2nd and West Wisconsin Avenue where trophies are awarded in 26 categories. Tomahawk's Mayor Bob Lee will present the Mayor's Choice award. Additional awards given in these categories: Club Participation,Oldest Participant, Youngest Participant,Best in Show and People's Choice. New this year, ballots for the People's Choice award will be available at the Tomahawk Main Street information booth for $1.00 each.
CALLING ALL CAR ENTHUSIASTS & COLLECTORS! Enter your car in MAIN STREET MEMORIES CAR SHOW – one of Wisconsin’s first car shows of the season, all taking place on blacktop with a backdrop of a historic downtown. 58 big trophies in over 26 classes! Vintage looking dash plaques! Great goody bags!
