Romantic Getaways to Tomahawk
Looking for a week long retreat or a romantic getaway? Tomahawk is a great place to spend time with the one you love. Here’s an example of what a romantic weekend in Tomahawk might look like:
Day 1:
8:00 a.m. — Breakfast at one of Tomahawk’s great restaurants.
9:00 a.m. — Hit the links! With three excellent public courses—Edgewater Country Club, Inshalla Country Club and Pinewood Country Club—Tomahawk is a great place for golfing.
Noon — Grab a great lunch in Tomahawk.
1:00 p.m. — One of the best biking trails in Wisconsin begins just minutes north of Tomahawk. The Hiawatha Trail runs 6 ½ miles through some of the most beautiful lake country you’ll find anywhere.
5:00 p.m. — Enjoy a romantic dinner in one of Tomahawk’s excellent supper clubs.
7:00 p.m. — Enjoy a movie at the Tomahawk Cinema. Call for current movie and time.
Day 2:
8:00 a.m. — Breakfast at your favorite Tomahawk restaurant.
9:00 a.m. — How about some excitement on the water? Rent 2-person Ski-Doo from Tomahawk Sports Center and make some waves on the area lakes.
Noon — Time for lunch—just pull up at the dock and stroll into town for a quick lunch.
1:00 p.m. — Spend the afternoon shopping in charming Tomahawk. Enjoy the small town atmosphere and unique stores
6:00 p.m. — Take a romantic “Sunset Dinner Cruise”. Cruise the beautiful Wisconsin River in a double decked excursion boat. Have a drink while the scenery floats by. The Wilderness Queen is waiting for you to come aboard!
